Fewer Forum members

There will soon be a number of forum members who will no longer be able to post, and whose names will disappear from the list of forum members.

Sadly they have not renewed their SAA membership and are therefore not eligible to use the forum.

We are sorry to see them go.

SAD DEATH

I am most unhappy to report that a stalwart of the Society has died unexpectedly. Bob Brown was the Editor of Arrowhead - but also much more. He was a regular attendee at meetings, providing welcome suggestions and sensible advice. He always shot at the annual bow meeting and almost always won an aw...

Re: New Look of the Forum Page

Thank you - just an update to the latest version. The downside is that I have to learn to work a whole new set of admin actions - and they are much more complicated than the earlier version. You will have to bear with me if there are delays or errors.

Re: 4th World Traditional Archery Festival

It would be really great if more SAA members were to attend this - but there is nothing to say how to register...there is no address or even an e-mail. Do they have a website ? Regretfully, this information is too late to go in Arrowhead, as this has just been posted to members. The next Arrowhead w...

The Society is losing money year on year, and one way to improve the situation is to get more members.

What do YOU think would persuade someone to join up ?

Your answers would be most helpful

Bede - your post is most interesting and mirrors what I feel. May I have your permission to read it out at the August Meeting ? I too have been feeling that there is much of academic interest here and have made enquiries of someone who is experienced in on-line forums (fora !) to see if it might be ...

Bede - we have to thank you most sincerely for such an extensive eulogy. As far as I know, news of Dr Graysons's demise has not yet reached officers of the SAA. Sadly the Arrowhead has just been posted so the news will have to wait until the next one. I will make sure that key people in the SAA are ...
